Background & Goals: Margaret Sylvia Namulema has worked to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, particularly among at-risk and out-of-school youth. She has worked as the Branch in-charge at the Family Planning Association of Uganda (FPAU) managing and providing sexual and reproductive health services. Namulema wished to use her education to conduct a comparative study of the risk and sexual behavior of those in school in the Mbnarara district in Uganda, and their out-of-school peers.
Post-Degree Projects: Namulema completed her Postgraduate Diploma Program in Development Studies at Mbarra University of Science and Technology (MUST) in Uganda.
